Village Brewery Seoul는 신촌에 위치한 브루어리 펍으로, 외부와 내부의 강한 대비를 통해 공간의 개성을 드러낸 프로젝트이다. 유럽의 성벽을 연상시키는 외벽은 거리와 맞닿아 단단한 인상을 형성하며, 내부의 개방적인 구조와 대비를 이룬다. 도로의 흐름을 따라 형성된 외벽의 라인과 건축물 본체의 축은 서로 비스듬히 어긋나 있어, 보행 동선에 따라 변화하는 리듬감 있는 입면을 만들어낸다.

실내는 높은 천정의 공간, 상대적으로 낮고 아늑한 공간, 그리고 포인트 컬러가 강조된 영역 등 서로 다른 스케일과 분위기가 공존하도록 구성되었다. 이러한 공간적 대비는 이용자에게 단일한 경험이 아닌, 머무는 위치에 따라 달라지는 다층적인 체험을 제공한다.

Village Brewery Seoul is a brewery pub located in Sinchon, characterized by a strong contrast between its exterior and interior. The outer wall, inspired by European fortifications, establishes a solid and grounded presence along the street, while the interior unfolds in a more open and dynamic manner. The alignment of the street-facing wall and the main building volume is intentionally skewed, creating a rhythmic and non-monotonous streetscape as pedestrians move along the site.

Inside, the space is composed of varying ceiling heights, intimate smaller zones, and areas highlighted with accent colors. This diversity of scale and atmosphere allows visitors to experience the pub differently depending on where they sit, offering a layered and engaging spatial journey.
