One’s Own 베이커리는 이화여대길에 위치한 베이커리 전문 매장으로, 높은 천정고가 공간의 주요한 특징이 되는 프로젝트입니다. 그러나 입구와 내부 폭이 좁은 선형 구조로 인해 배치에 제약이 있었고, 이에 따라 기능과 공간 경험을 분리해 계획했습니다. 내부 깊숙한 영역에는 베이커리 생산을 위한 주방을 넉넉하게 확보하고, 전면의 고객 공간은 높은 천정고를 강조한 모던하고 힙한 분위기로 구성해 시각적 개방감을 극대화했습니다.

기존 창이 있던 벽면은 브랜드의 핵심 재료인 붉은 벽돌로 마감해 공간의 중심 포인트로 만들었고, 나머지 면은 콘크리트 구조의 질감을 그대로 드러내 절제된 배경으로 계획했습니다. 대비되는 재료와 스케일을 통해 좁은 평면에서도 깊이감과 개성을 동시에 드러내는 공간으로 완성되었습니다.

One’s Own Bakery, located along Ewha Womans University Street, is a specialty bakery defined by its unusually high ceiling. Despite this vertical openness, the narrow entrance and limited width presented challenges for spatial organization. The layout was therefore structured by separating function and experience: the deeper interior accommodates an expanded kitchen for production, while the front area highlights the height of the space through a modern, hip, and art-oriented atmosphere.

A former window wall was reinterpreted using red brick—the brand’s signature material—establishing a strong visual anchor, while the remaining surfaces retain the exposed texture of the concrete structure as a restrained backdrop. Through the contrast of materials and scale, the project creates depth and identity within a compact footprint.
