YM studio의 건축 사무실입니다. 단순히 업무를 보는 기능적 장소를 떠나 만나러 오는 이들에게 있어 허름한 건물의 변화를 지켜보는 즐거움이 있었으면 하는 마음으로 개인 오피스를 만들었습니다. 남루한 건물 외관과 다르게 사무실로 택한 장소의 단정하게 매만진 모습을 보며 깨어나는듯한 시선의 변화를 선사하고자 했습니다. 모노톤의 인테리어를 살펴보면 섬세한 톤 변화와 가구, 조명의 흐르는 듯 이어지는 배치를 느낄 수 있습니다. 특히나 그간 수집해온 가구와 작품, 오브제를 통해 건축가이자 컬렉터로서의 취향을 조심스럽게 드러내고 있습니다.

This is the architectural office of YM Studio. Rather than existing merely as a functional workplace, the space was conceived as a personal office where visitors might take quiet pleasure in witnessing the transformation of an otherwise modest building. In contrast to its worn exterior, the interior reveals a carefully composed and refined environment—offering a subtle shift in perception, as if awakening the eye. Within the monochromatic interior, one can sense delicate gradations of tone, alongside a flowing arrangement of furniture and lighting that unfolds with quiet continuity. In particular, the space gently expresses the sensibility of the architect as both designer and collector, through a curated selection of furniture, artworks, and objects gathered over time.
