올드박스 하우스 프로젝트는 서울 통의동의 소규모 구옥을 리모델링한 오피스로, 기존 단층 구조의 천정을 개방하여 목구조 트러스가 공간의 주된 건축적 장치로 드러나도록 계획하였습니다. 일부 복층을 도입해 제한된 면적을 수직적으로 확장하고, 업무와 휴식이 교차하는 입체적 공간 경험을 형성합니다.  진입부는 작은 마당을 배치해 도시 조직 속 완충 공간이자 전이 영역을 만들었으며, 외장은 회색 벽돌로 마감해 주변 골목 맥락과 조화를 이루도록 합니다.  

This office project renovates a small existing house in Tongui-dong, Seoul, revealing the original timber structure by opening the ceiling and allowing it to function as a primary architectural feature. A partial mezzanine expands the spatial capacity vertically, creating layered zones for work and pause. A compact courtyard at the entrance establishes a transitional buffer from the dense urban fabric, while the gray brick façade mediates between the building and its surrounding alley context.
