옥인동 한옥은 작은 골목 안에 자리한 주거 프로젝트로, 전통 한옥의 배치 방식을 바탕으로 공간과 마당의 관계를 다시 구성한 작업입니다. ㄴ자 형식으로 배치된 한옥은 내부 공간을 감싸며, 한켠에 놓인 한국식 마당과 자연스럽게 이어집니다. 마당은 단순한 외부 공간이 아니라 실내와 시선과 동선이 맞물리는 중심으로 작동하며, 건물과 외부가 하나의 흐름으로 읽히도록 한다. 골목의 밀도 속에서도 집과 마당, 그리고 주변 환경이 조용히 연결되는 구조를 만들어냅니다.

Okin-dong Hanok is a residential project located within a narrow alley, reinterpreting the spatial relationship between a traditional hanok and its courtyard. Arranged in an L-shaped configuration, the structure encloses the interior while opening toward a Korean-style madang positioned at one side. The courtyard functions not merely as an exterior space but as a central element that connects movement, views, and daily life between inside and outside. Within the dense urban fabric, the house, courtyard, and surrounding environment are composed to read as a continuous spatial flow.
