이 프로젝트는 카이스트 학부 로비를 크래프톤의 지원으로 새롭게 재구성한 공간으로, 학교와 기업, 기부자가 함께 만드는 실험적 환경을 상징적으로 드러내는 데 초점을 두었습니다. 기부자들의 이름은 공간 전면에 드러내기보다, 중심에 떠 있는 형태의 테이블 뒤편에 조성된 세장한 정원에 새겨 넣어 ‘보일 듯 보이지 않는’ 방식으로 존재감을 남깁니다. 구조적으로 구현된 콘크리트 테이블은 가구이자 하나의 건축적 오브제로 작동하며, 실험정신을 물리적 형태로 드러냅니다. 정면에서 인지되는 무게감 있는 콘크리트 요소는 학생과 학교, 그리고 기업의 협력이 모이는 플랫폼으로서 이 공간의 성격을 명확히 하도록합니다.  

This project reconfigures the undergraduate lobby at KAIST with support from Krafton, aiming to express a shared environment shaped by the university, industry, and its donors. Rather than being prominently displayed, the donors’ names are inscribed within a slender garden behind a floating central table—present yet understated. The table itself, structurally engineered in concrete, functions both as furniture and as an architectural object embodying a spirit of experimentation. Perceived as a solid mass from the front, the space becomes a platform where students, the university, and industry partners converge and collaborate.
